Consulting Engineers 11615 Forest Central Dr. #204 Dallas, Texas 75243 Re: Sandy Lake Project 91-838 (Coppell E. City Limits to Carrollton City Limit) Your letter dated October 25, 1995 Dear Mr. James: This letter is in response to your letter dated October 26, 1995 concerning the typical section on the bridge and the proposed storm sewer route for the 66" line. For ease of reference I will follow the format of your letter. Regarding topic A; we have studied a recommendation indicated on your enclosed sketch. In addition, we have discussed your recommendation with various City officials. Attached you will find a copy of your submittal which has been marked-up to reflect the desires of the various public officials. As a further aid to you comments to your sketch follow: 1. Remove the raised median section. Use the median barrier wall (with no raised median) previously shown on your plans. 2. Remove barrier walls that separate the interim travelled way (inside lanes) and the space available for future lanes. Delineation is to be handled by two rows of white buttons (minimum size of buttons is 8"). Use of buttons will enable easy adaptation in the future for widening or adding lanes by the City. 3. Reposition the 501 Rail to the both outside edges using the same out to out dimension. 4. No raised sidewalk is to be provided on the bridge but it is to be provided at both ends of the bridge. GTE will be asked to propose another method for supporting their conduit. 411 Elm 'Street Dallas, Texas 75202 653-7151 Mr. Lloyd James, P.E., Project Manager November 13, 1995 Page Two Regarding topic B; as previously indicated to you verbally, we have studied your comments concerning the proposed route and concur with your recommendations relative to the minor alignment changes.
