Construction Materials Testing
Dear Mr. Gee:
Enclosed please find a set of plans and specifications for the above referenced project.
The project consists of the installation of +140 linear feet of 3-barrel 5' x 10' multiple box
culvert, +80 linear feet of 4-barrel 5' x 10' multiple box culvert, and +440 linear feet of
earthen channel with gabion reinforced side slopes. The project was awarded during the
October 25, 2005 City Council meeting.
Please provide an estimate of the type and number of construction materials tests required
for the project based on the construction plans and the City's standards, and submit a
proposal for the testing. The contractor is responsible for payment of materials testing
done before 8:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m., and for any re-testing.
