Dear Mr. Brancheau
This letter is to request your assistance in repairing damages that occurred to our church property at 532 E.
Sandy Lake Road in Coppell. The damage occurred during the placement of a power pole by your
construction forces in frout of our church property, approximately three weeks ago.
We have included photographs of the damage which indicate deep ruts, landscaping damage and damage to
the irrigation system. We discussed this matter with Mr. Bobby Inman, of your company, but would like to
formally communicate the damage to ensure plans can be made to expedite the necessary repairs.
Also, in discussion with Mr. Kenneth Griffin, Director of Planning and Engineering for the City of Coppell,
we find that the agreements associated with the Sandy Lake Construction require the contractors and
utilities to stay within prescribed rights of way to perform consm~on unless prior arrangemems are made
with the property owners. We have not been con~acted regarding theuse of our property and would greatly
appreciate this level of coordination so we can avoid future disruption to our property and facilities.
Since Our irrigation system is no longer operational and we strive to main~ a pleasing and inviting church
appearance, we would like to resolve this matter as soon as possible. Please call me at 972-724-2323 at
your earliest convenience so we might discuss your plans to expedite the necessm3t repairs.
Sincerely yours,
Kenneth Hovland

Dear Mr. Violi
This letter is to request your assistance in repairing damage to our church property as a result of
construction associated with the installation of a telephone cable placed under Sandy Lake Road. Henkels
and McCoy Contracting Firm performed the consUuction approximately three weeks ago on the Southwest
corner of the church property. It is our understa~_ing that GTE contracted with Henkels and McCoy to
perform the work in conjunction with the Sandy Lake Road construction project.
We have included photographs which visually indicate lawn and landscape damage. In addition, a main
feeder of our irrigation system hms within the area of construction and thc system has not worked since the
telephone work was completed.
Also, in discussion with Mr. Kenneth Griffin, Director of Planning and Engineering for the City of Coppell,
we find that the agreements associated with the Sandy Lake Constmaion require thc contractors and
utilities to stay within the prescribed rights of way unless prior arrangements are made with the property
owners. We were not contacted prior to the construction on our property and would greatly appreciate this
level of coordination so we can avoid future disruption to our property and facilities.
Since our irrigation system is no longer operational and we strive to maintain a pleasing and inviting church
