Dear Mr. Griffin:
Enclosed for your review and approval is a detour plan for the closure of Heartz Road on the
north side of Sandy Lake Road to facilitate the installation of the 30" Coppell water line, storm
sewer lateral8 to the edge 'of SandylLake Road, and the manhole at STA 17+06.57 Lt. Due to
the depth of the Utilities bn the Heartz Road portion of this intersectioni the safest method of.
construction for the traveling public and the construction workers will be to close the north side
of this intersection and detour the traffic onto Parkway Boulevard. Based upon M-CO's
productions on the 30" water line, it appears that they will need to close the intersection on
approximately March 18, 1999. The intersection should be closed for 7 to 10 days and then
reopened to normal traffic flow.
Please provide our office with your decision regarding this closure at your earliest convenience.

Due to the proposed storm drain and manholes being so deep and in the middle of
Heartz Street. We request that Heartz Street be closed to through traffic from Sandy
Lake Road and Parkway Boulevard until this work can be completed.
I have included a traffic control plan that will show how traffic will be routed. All spacing
and signing will be per Texas Department of Transportation - Barricade and Construction
Standards.
