REVlSION OF FLOOD PLAIN MAPS
Dallas County in cooperation with the
City of Coppell has submitted a study to
the Federal Emergency Manageme:nt
Agency which requests changes in the
dzfined 100-year flood plain and flood-
way of the Elm Fork-Trinity River in th~
reach from Beltline Road to Sandy Lake
Roa<L These changes include construc-
ti~ of a 1,040 foot long elevated bridge
ami road embanlunent for Sandy Lake
Road and a flood control swale in the east
overbank of the Elm Fork between Sandy
Lake and Beltline Road.
Specifically, Dallas County is requesting
revisions to the Flood Boundary and-
Floodway Map and Flood Insurance Rate
Map for Coppell, Texas (Community
Panel No. 480170 0010E). A copy of the
