We are pleased to submit for your final approval the Phase IIC Landscaping and Irrigation
plans for Gateway Business Park and Freeport Rehabilitation. The comments from your initial
review of the plans have been addressed and are reflected in the plans. Our response to your
comments are summarized as follows:
Comment: 1. Separate the median irrigation controllers from the parkway system.
Response:
All median irrigation is controlled independently from the parkway (see the
plans).
Comment: 2.
If right-of-ways are going to have berms, it will be necessary to adjust
nfl[ides to final grade.
Response:
Berming in right-of-way is minimal; bid items are included for utility
adjustments.
Comment: 3. Please clarify the plant material circled on Sheet L-2A.

Irrigation should be provided for the median on Gateway Blvd., west of
Freeport Parkway (refer to sheet I-6).
