I am writing to you regarding the water bills for apparent water usage at the
above referenced project. Copies of the invoices received from the City of
Coppell are enclosed for your review. Please note the total gallons of water
consumed add up to 26,300 gallons. There appears to be an error in billing
these meters to the Goodyear project. We have never used near this much water
on any of our Goodyear construction projects in the past. I can provide
substantial evidence to support this statement.
I have inquired about this billing with Mr. Howard Pafford of the water
department in the City of Coppell. He has informed me that the three water
meters in question serve not only our property (Goodyear), but also the
surrounding land for future development. The Goodyear store actually tsps into
the 6" water line running east and west along the north edge of our property
and has its own separate meter. It appears that the water consumed at these
meters was to fill empty water and fire mains, which serve other parcels
within the development.
Please revise and correct the water billing with the City of Coppell to
reflect the water consumed by our construction personnel. If you wish to
