ST9302-UP 990706MOORE ROAD CLOSURE (North side of Sandy Lake Road) CLOSED FROM: JULY 6 THRU JULY 27, 1999 Several utility installations need to be completed in the Moore Road/Sandy Lake Road intersection. This work has to be completed to allow paving operations to begin late this summer. This closure will not effect east/west traffic on Sandy Lake Road. Following is the work scheduled during this three (3) week closure: Install 30" water line to 100' east of Moore Rd. Remove an existing sanitary sewer manhole. Demolish existing storm drainage manhole and construct new manhole further north. Install new drainage pipes into new storm drainage manhole. Inspect 12" water line to north and connect 8" water line to south. Due to the depth of these utilities and the need to exercise greater caution working around the 16" High Pressure Gas Line, this road closure will allow for more expedient construction and provide a safer work environment for the contractor and the traveling public. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions please contact Stan Phillips, Sandy Lake Road Project Inspector at 972/745-6592 or the Engineering Department at 972/304-3679.
