Bridge Structure
Dear Mr. Weston:
Albert H. Halff Associates, Inc. has provided Charles Gojer, P.E. with a plan/profile sheet
showing their recommended 1040 foot long bridge structure at the Trinity River. The 100 year
water surface elevation is 446.0 which places the low beam elevation at 448.0 and the minimum
top of curb elevation 448.0 within the 100 year flood plain.
These recommendations are based on the revised Alternate 3 concept which has been approved
by the City of Carrollton and Dallas County. The revised Alternate 3 concept has not been
approved by the Cities of Dallas or Coppell, FEMA or the Corps of Engineers. We are
confident that these approvals will be forthcoming and on that basis are advising you to proceed
with the preparation of your profile grade based on this information.
