RE: Damage to Water System/City of Coppel ation Subdivisio~
Dear Mr. Christie: ~
The purpose of this letter is to address a particular concern I have
regarding one of your subcontractors working in the above referenced
subdivision in Coppell. On February 23, Mr. Williams cut two (2)
water services on Beverly Drive. It seems that each time Mr. Williams
performs utility installations in one of the City's subdivisions,
something gets damaged. On several occasions in the past, Water
Utilities personnel have repaired many damaged water and sewer
services and a few water mains due to damage caused by Mr. williams or
his crew.
I cannot continue to have my people follow Mr. Williams around in the
water system repairing these problems. At some point I have to start
charging for the repair of these problems.
The damage on Beverly Drive last Tuesday cost the City $80.00 to
repair. Please pass this information on to your subcontractor and
please ensure that the cost of these repairs are paid to the City of
Coppell Finance Department, Attention Carolyn Bebermeyer, P.O. Box
478~, Coppell, Texas 75019.
