Dear Resident:
This letter is a follow-up to the letter you received from the
Director of Public Works last month dated 2/19/92 regarding the
drainage improvement in your area. The bids have been processed
and the successful bidder is Gregory Equipment, Inc.
The City Council awarded the bid on 3/24/92 and the contractor will
be receiving a notice to proceed within the next week. Once he has
received this notice he will start the project, weather permitting,
within two (2) weeks.
I have attempted to contact all of the residents affected by this
project by phone. Those that I did reach were given a brief
overview of the project and their questions answered. For those of
you whom I wasn't able to reach by phone, the following is provided
for your convenience:
-- Ail ditches along the right-of-way will be reestablished and
hydromulched.
-- Ail culverts in drives will be upgraded.
-- Existing underground system will be put back in place.
-- Driveways will be repaired to original condition.
-- Railroad right-of-way swale will be reestablished.
