The subject bid closed on Tuesday, March 9, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. Bids were sent to eleven firms of
which four replied. Attached, for your information, is a copy of the complete bid analysis spreadsheet.
Also, copies of all bids received for such.
Please note the bid from Gregory Equipment, the price bid is only for items 1, 2, and 4 through 9. It
does not include item 3 (alternate 1 - price for the alley). I contacted Gregory Equipment after the bid
opening to verify their price. I inquired if the price quoted included alternate one, and I was assured by
Buddy Gregory that it did. I therefore requested a fax verification of such (copy attached). The fax
shows alternate 1 as a separate price, however, their bid for alternate one cannot be accepted after the
fact.
If you have any questions regarding the bid and/or the bids received, please do not hesitate to call me.
Please do not contact any of the Bidders until after the actual award has been made by City
Council.
