Dear Resident:
The City of Coppell is seeking bids for drainage improvements in an
effort to mitigate the drainage problems in this area. This letter
is to inform you of the scope of work which will be taking place
once the bids are received and the contract is awarded.
The project scope will include the following activities:
Cleaning and grading of all roadside swales.
Removal and replacement of culvert pipes at driveways and
sidewalks.
Removal and repair to like condition all drive approaches
affected by construction.
Incorporation of 25' drainage swale along the railroad right-
of-way north of Howell and Bullock Streets.
Hydromulching of all earthen ditches upon completion of
project.
Driveway access will be maintained throughout the project. The
contractor will establish and maintain a traffic control plan.
Ail improvements are necessary and part of the pavement resurfacing
Dallas County will perform once the drainage improvements are
completed. The city Council during the budget process approved the
funding for these improvements in this fiscal year.
