Michael, I will need a memo and copy of receipt. The memo will need to stated that a meter was
exchange for a small size and what the two amounts are and the amount of the refund. Ptease put in the
memo where the refund check needs to be mailed.

On Thursday I issued a 1" meter to William George Homes, a contractor who swore he needed a 1"
meter. The receipt number is 2380. Today, he sent his helper in to change out to a 5/8 meter. The 1" is
$62.25, the 5/8 is $20.98. How do we go about issuing a refund for the difference? I told the young man
making the exchange that it would have to go through Finance and it may take a couple of weeks for him
to receive a refund. What paperwork, etc. do you need from me? Thanks.
