The general design, sbope and location were discussed, and the following items were finalized: The new 21-inch sanitary sewer line begins in the north median of MacArthur Blvd. at the intersection of MacArthur/Sandy Lake Road. It proceeds south across the intersection to a new manhole and tums east to parallel Sandy Lake Road to an existing manhole along an existing 30/27-inch line running north and south. An existing 10-inch sanitary sewer line running east and west in Sandy Lake Road will be investigated by Mr. Griffin to determine if it can be abandoned east of the intersection. It will tie to the new 21-inch line with a new manhole. An 8-inch sanitary sewer line running west fi'om the intersection will also be investigated by Mr. Griffin to determine if the line should be abandoned. Mr. Griffin will contact Sverdmp about the outcome of the investigations to define potential tie-in requirements. The new 21-inch sanitary sewer line terminates at the eastem end at the existing manhole for the 30/27-inch sanitary sewer line. The 21-inch line will require a slight curve to move from the south side of the proposed roadway to the manhole. o A parallel line or the upgrade of the existing 27-inch line from the existing manhole to the pump station will be completed on the new force main project, which is being designed by another firm. A site plan of the pump station for our project is not required. A task to be completed is to determine the invert elevation of the 30/27-inch manhole. Sverdmp will have the surveyor obtain the invert elevation at the manhole in order to verify the tie-in elevation. Sverdrup submitted to Mr. Griffin for his review the two parcels which he requested. 8. The comments received from Mr. Griffin on the MacArthur/Sandy Lake Road intersection plan set were also reviewed briefly, and all comments have been incorporated on the Plans. 9. Mr. Stevens transmitted plans of the pump station and electronic files of signal plans 'and specifications to Sverdmp for our use and information. 10.
