Dear Mr. Burina:
I am writing on behalf of the U. S. Geological Survey, Subdistrict Office, Ft. Worth, Texas to
request permission to install a streamflow gaging station at the new Elm Fork Trinity River bridge
on Sandy Lake Road near Carrollton, Texas. The reason for the request is the impending demoli-
sion of the existing structure, which we currently have a gaging station attached. Please find
enclosed two copies of the plans detailing the proposed location and construction of the gage.
When you receive these plans please give me a call at 817 - 334 -5551. I would like to speak with
you about how long it might take for the permission, and if it might be possible to get verbal per-
mission from you.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
. Tod San lin
