limits on MacArthur
Motorists are reminded to use caution as they
drive down MacArthur Boulevard. For the next
month, northbound traffic on MacArthur just south of
Sandy Lake will be detoured over to the southbound
side. There will be two-way traffic on What are nor-
mally southbound lanes.
The detour is necessary to allow a city contractor
to work in the median and the northbound lanes while
placing new water lines underground. This water
supply is part of the city Capital Improvement Prog-
ram and will be connecting the 4 million-gallon ground
water storage tank and pumping station (both under
construction) at Sandy Lake and Kimbel Kourt with
the rest of the city potable water distribution system.
This includes the elevated water storage tank on
SouthweStern l~oalevard, west of Coppdl Road.
