Dear Mr. Martin:
In response to a request from Ultramar Diamond Shamrock Corp. this is to state that we have
no objection to your issuance of a building permit to them to enable them to proceed with
driveway construction as proposed by them for their facility at the intersection of MacArthur Rd.
and Sandy Lake Road. This will require relocation of a proposed inlet approximately 75 feet to
the North and a consequent increase in storm sewer length in the captioned project.
Shamrock has given us written assurance that it will bear all additional costs resulting from the
relocation including additional design costs. Our consultant, Sverdrup Civil, [nc., has examined
the proposal and has indicated that there is no technical reason why the inlet cannot be relocated.
Please call Jack Hedge, P.E., of my staff at 214-653-6420 if there are questions in this regard.
