Inlet Adjustment
Dear Mr. Hebb:
As discussed recently by telephone, we have received a request from Ultramar Diamond
Shamrock Corporation t° relocate an inlet proposed in the captioned project to remove it from a
proposed curb opening to their facility at the intersection of MacArthur Road and Sandy Lake
Road. Attached is a photocopy of Shamrock'S paving plan with the presently proposed location of
the inlet (in red) and a location some 75 feet to the North where it appears that the inlet could be
moved to.
Shamrock has agreed to pay for the costs of redesign and for additional construction costs which
this change would cause (copy attached)
Please examine the drawing to see if the relocation of the inlet is feasible. Shamrock's objective is
to secure a building permit for its work at this site as soon as possible.
Please call Jack D. Hedge, P.E., of my staff at 214-653-6420 if you have questions.

Relocation of Storm Drain Inlet
Dear Ms. Blair-Robinson:
Thank You for meeting with me last week without an appointment.
As per our conversation, Diamond Shamrock dba Stop N Go Markets has applied for a permit to install
a curb cut on MacArthur Blvd. Due to the rules and regulations for the City of Coppell, the proposed curb
cut can only be installed as shown on the attached drawing. In reviewing our plans, we were told that the
County of Dallas has a proposed storm drain inlet in the same area. Diamond Shamrock is requesting that
your proposed drain inlet to relocated further North on MacArthur Blvd. If our request is acceptable to the
County, Diamond Shamrock will pay for the cost to revise the plans to incorporate this change. In
addition, Diamond Shamrock will also agree to pay any additional cost to construct the storm drain inlet and
related piping in the new location versus the proposed location. I will give Mr. Sandana a call next week to
discuss this request.
Again, Thank You for your time and consideration on our request.
Sincerely,
Joe Clark
