Re: Four-Way Stop Study on Moore Road at Parkway Road
Dear Russell:
As a result of our discussions, Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is pleased to submit this contract
to provide you with the following traffic engineering services.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
We propose to perform a four-way stop warrant study as outlined in the Texas Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices. This includes the collection of eight hours of traffic volume data at the
subject intersection, the analysis of the traffic data, and the preparation of a report summarizing the
results of the study.
We will also provide a schematic drawing of the intersection with recommendations for safety- and
operationally-related improvements at the intersection.
We will present the above results to the Coppell City Council at a regularly-held council meeting.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Additional services which may be required, but are not limited to, are as follows:
Attendance at public meetings or client meetings, not included in Basic Services.
· Other related tasks as designated by the City.
SCHEDULE
We will begin these services upon receipt of an executed contract. All services will be completed
within 30 working days of receipt of contract.
FEE AND BILLING
We will accomplish the services outlined above for the lump sum fee of $1300.
Fees are due and payable within 25 days of the completion of the services performed.

CLOSURE
In addition to the matters set forth herein, our Agreement shall include, and shall be subject to, the
Standard Provisions attached hereto and hereby incorporated herein. The term "the Client" as used
in the attached Standard Provisions shall refer to the City of CoppelL
If you concur in the foregoing and wish to direct us to proceed with the aforementioned work, please
execute the enclosed copy of this letter agreement in the space provided and return the same to the
undersigned. Fees and times stated in this Agreement are valid for sixty (60) days after the date of
agreement by the Engineer.
To facilitate future studies of this type, we would like to prepare a Master Agreement between the
City and Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Such an agreement would enable us to respond to the
City's request for work expeditiously, requiring only a phone call and our receipt of a work order
outlining services desired and negotiated fee without having to go through the process of signing
formal contracts each time the City desires services performed. If the City would like us to prepare
such an agreement, we would be pleased to do so.
