Please find enclosed two new review sets of the above referenced construction plans. The
set supplied on March 23rd should be discarded. I believe that most of the design issues have
been settled for the Stages I and II construction plans except for the details on utility
relocations/crossings. We are reviewing the crossing locations and elevations one more time and
will be performing some final field verification, where possible, early next week. I have briefly
discussed existing utility crossings with Howard Pafford, Public Works Department and will sit
down and go over the plan with him next week.
We are currently preparing the easement documentation for 164 Meadowglen Circle. I
have attached a copy of easement dedication language provided by your city attorney for the
~ Kaye Street easements. This language was not utilized by the consultant for Kaye Street,
,~\~ ~' ~ however, if you have no objections we will use it for the Meadows and Hunterwood easements.
,~ ~! will have a list and layout of the easements for Hunterwood by Tuesday (4-21-92). As we
. discussed, I recommend that the initial contact (letter or phone) of the residents be made by city
(o, ~- · staff. The property owners would then be expecting Halff Associates as a representative of the
City of Coppell. Please let me know if you need me to prepare a draft letter for tiffs initial
contact. I would also appreciate being copied on this letter.
As always, Halff Associates appreciates the opportunity to help the City of Coppell

Enclosed please find two review sets of construction plans for the Meadows Stage I
drainage improvements. This project includes the extension of a storm sewer system on
Lansdowne Circle and the addition of two curb inlets (1-10' and 1-6') at the intersection of
Meadow Run and Lansdowne. An additional inlet is also added on Leslie Drive. These
improvements with the proposed diversion through Waterside Estates will bring this drainage
system up to 25-year capacity. Without the diversion this system will have approximately 5-year
capacity. However, flooding conditions on Leslie Drive will be improved significantly because
runoff which is currently flowing south on Meadow Run will be picked up by the new inlets on
Lansdowne Circle.

shall return the surface area c~ tl~e easement strip to its original
condition as nearly as practical taking into consideration the
nature of the work being perfc~:~d. GRANTOR reserves the right to
use and maintain the surface of the easesent strip for purposes
which will not interfere with ,~TEE'S rights hereby granted and
agrees that upon completion ef the underground facility and
restoration of the surface, Z'!~TEE shall not be obligated for
