Alley/Easement Dedication
A situation has occurred between lots 1 and 15 in Meadows Section
Five for which some type of property dedication to the city would
solve. Dale Jackson first brought this to my attention last week.
It is apparent that lot 1 was not given sufficient alley access to
put in a drive. An extension was constructed to the stubbed alley
section to provide for this but is actually located on lot 15.
Both property owners are agreeable to a dedication to the City with
provisions for the responsibility of maintenance of the existing
pavement to be born by the affected property owners. However, it
will require the proper terminology to make it legal..
Please review the attached plat and letter of request. Both
owners, I believe, are receptive to any legal fees that may be
incurred to resolve the dilemma.
