Dear Mr. Andrews:
In response to your August 12, 1986 correspondence regarding the
above referenced project, we have enclosed both counterparts of
the proposed street easement for execution by the Railroad. These
street easements have been executed by the City of Coppell as you
had requested. Also, as requested, we have furnished a certified
copy of the Council minutes of July 22, 1986 (Item 9), which shows
the City Council authorized the City Manager to commit the City of
Coppell to $146,414.00 in funds for improvements within the
Railroad right-of-way- The total figure above breaks down into
$10,000.00 to Continental Pipeline Company and $136,414.00 to the
Railroad for each entities' planned improvements. We hope this
information accommodates your needs.
As you are probably aware, the City of Coppell desperately needs
this crossing installed as soon as possible. The completion
date for the street improvements is November 1, 1986. Every
possible effort you can make to put this crossing at the top of
your priority list would certainly be appreciated. We shall be
happy to cooperate in every way possible in order to help you
accomplish this.
