School Zone on Moore Road
Dana, attached you will find the comments submitted to my office from Gabe
Favre, representing Ginn Inc., regarding our request to them to provide a study
and make recommendations regarding the installation of school zone flashers
at the Moore Road school site.
Please review the attachments carefully and contact Gabe if you have any questions
regarding any of the materials provided. Most of what he has outlined is exactly
to your recommendation to my office and I foresee no problems in adhering to
and following their recommendations. However, he does make reference under
Item #3 and #6 regarding "stop for emergency vehicles when flashlng flashers"
at these locations. Contact Gabe and verify to what extent he was refering to
and what electrica~ and/or mechanical devices will be required in order that these
flashers are properly activated when emergency vehicles that are in the area
are being discharged from fire station #2. Once you obtain that information and
you feel comfortable with your ~indings, please submit back to me any
recommendations you may have or deviations from what we have already planned
for that may be required.

we try to have this prepared and installed by September 1, 1987. Please make
every effort to expedite this project. Thank you.
