Dear Mr. Vanderpool:
In response to your request of March 5, 1986, regarding the
above referenced project, Ginn, Inc. cannot execute the
March 5, 1986 letter agreement since we do not manage,
direct, or hold any responsibility for the Contractor's
actions on the above referenced project. Our responsibility
to the City of Coppell is to inspect the construction
performed for conformance to the plans and specifications and
monitor the Contractor's progress for recommendations for
payment.
Enclosed are copies of the Contractor's performance bond,
insurance certificate, and section 3.17 "Indemnification"
the General Conditions of Agreement between the City of
Coppell and Ashlar Contracting Company.

If you should need additional insurance coverage from the
Contractor, information, or documentation before consenting
to Ashlar Contracting Company installing the 12" water main,
please contact our office.
We hope that this clarifies Ginn, Inc.'s relationship in
regard to this project and also provides Continental Pipeline
Company the assurances you need to give your consent to
proceed with construction of the 12" water main.
