Drainage from Riverview Estates
Dear Mr. Saldana:
Per you letter dated January 2, 1996 regarding Riverview Estates drainage Sverdrup Civil, Inc. has
rev/ewed the Pre 'lmainary Plat dated September 4, 1991 and a February 29, 1992 Topographic/Base Map
of the area. Based on this information Sverdrup Civil, Inc. developed calculations and a storm sewer
profile to incorporate the area zoned "Retail" (6 Ac +/-) along Sandy Lake Road into the Sandy Lake Road
drainage system. These calculations and proffie area based on the City of Dallas drainage criteria, and
assume that the "Retail" area will be picked up on site and not allowed to flow over the Sandy Lake Road
top of curb. Further the calculations assume approximately 80% of the "Retail" area will drain to east, and
20% will drain to the west.
Attached is a sketch of the portion of the profile to be incorporated into the final design of the Sandy Lake
Road Bridge Project by Charles Oojer and Associates.
Also a detailed review of the project milestone dates and schedule is underway, and will be completed as
soon as possible. Sverdrup will make every effort to expedite the project, however the suggested
submittal date of February 13th, 1996 for Phase I may slide a week or two. The Revised Design Progress
Form and Bar Graph Schedule will be submitted shortly.
