Oakbend Addition/Construction Plans - Status Report

The above referenced construction plans have been approved in
phases, in an attempt to work with the engineer and developer, with
the exception of the open channel on Lot 52, Block A.
I have asked Derek Earle to either address Staff's concerns and
change the proposed open channel to a closed system and/or state
his position in a written response to the City. Derek is
requesting that we meet with him, at the Staff level, and resolve
this issue.
Please note that due to Staff's concerns regarding erosion,
operation and maintenance of such channels, etc., Staff recon~nends
this item be placed on a City Council agenda for consideration on
December 11, 1990. Please advise.
