Oakbend Addition Construction Plans - Drainage Issue

The above referenced plans are currently under review by affected
Public Works staff. Please note that said plans do not reflect any
~evisions regarding extended cul-de-sacs and State Road
· mprovements, as requested by the City Council. Derek Earle, with
Centex, Fox & Jacobs, has aggressively requested that he be allowed
to start water and sewer utility construction. In spirit of
cooperation, we let him submit separated water and sewer plans from
paving and drainage plans, since the drainage issues have not been
completely addressed yet.
As you know, staff has been reviewing the above water and sewer
plans. Derek had requested a preconstruction meeting, as he has
indicated that he has to meet a deadline drawn by MUD #1. Subject
preconstruction meeting was held by Larry Davis this morning and,
as discussed with you, the construction work will not start until
the water and sewer plans are approved by the City of Coppell.
Please note that we are still awaiting the revised paving and
drainage plans from the engineer for final review. It is my
understanding that State Road improvement plans may be submitted
separately, which should probably go through platting process.
I will keep you informed of this project on a regular basis, until
the final construction plans are approved.
