Request for Alternate Plan for placement of Sidewalk along Sandy Lake Road.
As per our discussion, I promised to get back to you regarding the outcome
of the consensus of the placement of the sidewalk along Sandy Lake Road at
Georgian place Estates.
Please be advised that the homeowners of property along Sandy Lake road have
requested that the City of Coppell stay clear and away from our property
along Sandy Lake road and request that you provide an alternate plan to
place a Sidewalk within the City's own Right of Way. The city has 17 feet of
property within its own ROW to put a 8-10 foot sidewalk and we believe that
you can design an alternate solution without encroaching on our property.
The current plan violates the comfort, serenity and most importantly the
Safety of our families and property. We welcome a discussion of an
alternative plan that includes reforestation of the area and allows the
quiet enjoyment of our property.
The petition provided to Ken Griffin as the City Engineer and signed by the
home owners of property along Sandy Lake road stands. Please let me know if
you need another copy.
