Dear Mr. Weston:
I am returning the plans you submitted on March 10, 1994 with only a cursory review of the
profile grades and cross-sections you submitted.
The grades as submitted are not acceptable for review by this office. The Pre-Design meeting
which was held specifically stated that your paving plans were to provide four(4) separate top
of curb grades. They were to be a right top of curb, a right median top of curb, a left top of
curb and a left median top of curb.
The following comments relative to these plans are however made to assist you with your
resubmital:
Please recheck the method which was used to plot the left and right property line
in the profiles. The property line in the profile and that is shown in the cross-
sections should agree with one another.
2. Provide elevations in the profile on 50 foot stations.
Show your pavement crossfall in the plan view at least once on every sheet and
at every change in crossfall
4. Label the type of existing pavement for all streets, alleys and drives.
The quality of the riding surface on MacArthur Boulevard through the intersection
of Sandy Lake Road is not acceptable. Look at providing a planed intersection.
6. On your drainage area map provide 500 foot stationing.

7. - Section 14+50 ditch on left is too high and ponds water.
8. Your pavement grade from Station 20+00 east appears high. Water should not
run from the street into drives and onto private property.. Please explain why the
grade is so high.
9. Additional comments noted on the plan sheets.
Please revised your plans based on these comments and return this marked set with your
resubmission. Only three sets need to be submitted at this time in the plan development.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the comments provided or if you'd like
to set up a meeting to review them together.
Sincerely,
BEJ:slc~
