CONSULTING ENGINEERS
Dear Ms. Daneshmand:
We have reviewed the revised construction plans for the above
referenced project for general conformance to the City of Coppell
ordinances and standards.
We reviewed the marked-up plans and prior comments made by Ginn,
Inc. to see if the engineer addressed all items as requested.
The following are our comments.
The sidewalks will be constructed when the Director of
Public Works deems necessary, not when the majority of
property owners want them as the note on Sheet 1 states.
Southwestern Boulevard Drive plans need to be coordinated
with these plans since there are references to same
throughout. (We do not have any plans for Southwestern
Blvd.)
Waterline "E" should be upgraded to 16" diameter not 12" as
shown. This is due to a recent hydraulic analysis for the
city of Coppell. Participation by the City will be in
accordance with the subdivision ordinance.
The waterline profiles have been provided as requested.
Sanitary sewer lines are provided also.
The upgrading of the 10" sanitary sewer to 12" along Airline
Drive from International Drive to Belt Line was not done.
The engineer indicated that the loads on the sewer line were
reduced by diverting flows southward to Wrangler. If the
loading justifies this, we have no objections. Line "K" in
Wrangler Drive should be 12" all the way. It indicates 10"
between International and Executive Drives.
6. On sanitary sewer profiles, please indicate
of mains and velocities.

At Wrangler Drive and International Drive (Sheet 40), it
appears the low point (Sta. 23+00) and the location of the
inlet (Sta. 22+25) are not the same point. Engineer
must address.
To the best of our knowledge and belief all items identified in
our June 1, 1990 review have been addressed, shown, modified or
changed as requested. The standard detail sheets should be
attached to the drawings. We are reviewing the "water study" at
this time and will have comments at a later date.
Should you have any questions, please contact our office.
Sincerely,
Gabe Favre
