Please revise your typical sections to show the future pavement width for Sandy Lake Road to be 12 ft. in order to provide for two-36 ft. f/f of curbs future roadways with a 16 ft f/f median and 10.5 ft. parkways in a 110 ft. right-of-way. SHEET STATION 13+00 TO 18+50 1. The portion.of Sandy Lake Road west of MacArthur Boulevard, needs to be coordinated with Coppe11's Consultant, Robert Maly, with Rady and Associates. The telephone number for contact is (817) 654-4266. 2. Provide 100 foot Stationing in plan view. (typical all sheets) 3. November 4, 1993 Page Two SHEET 18+00 TO 24+00 1. See note 3 above. 2. Provide width of all existing pavement and the proposed drives. The intersection of the MacArthur Boulevard needs to comply with the City's streetscape plan. (previous comment). Please show this on your preliminary plan submittal. Also include on the preliminary plan submittal the location of conduit for traffic, street lighting and irrigation. (typical all sheets) m Coppell has indicated they are still concerned about no median opening at Kimball Court. Hopefully their public meeting will resolve this matter. SHEET 24+00 TO 29+50 Show trees on north side (previous comments). SHEET 29+50 TO 34+00 No comment. SHEET 34+00 TO 39+50 The City of Coppell has approved a planned development on the south side of Sandy Lake Road which has a proposed street. Please coordinate with Nathan D. Maier Consulting Engineers to obtain a location for the proposed street. (see attached print of the proposed development). Close the planned opening at 40+60 and provide for a median with turn lane to serve the proposed street for the planned development. SHEET 39+50 TO 44+50 Close median opening at Station 40+60 SHEET 44+50 TO 48+50 No comment. T Mr. Phil Weston, P.E. November 4, 1993 Page Three SHEET 48+50 TO 53+00 1. Locate the Riverchase Drive median nose so that it won't have to be relocated when Sandy Lake is eventually widened to six lanes. The City of Coppe11 has indicated that an additional 15 feet was dedicated east of Riverchase Drive. Please locate and show this right-of-way on your plans. This additional right-of-way on the south side does not appear to help reduce our overall right-of-way needs if we were to try to utilize it, but, please take a look at this. SHEET 53 TO 58+50 Show tree line on south side (previous comment). ~EET 58+50 TO 64+00 1. Show tree line on south side (previous comment). 2. Why is the Coppell 110 ft R.O.W. being reduced? SHEET 64+00 To 69+00 1. You continue to show a lack of coordination with the Charles Gojer firm. Please show their proposed bridge section, the locatiOn of the west abutment, and how your pavement will tie into their bridge section. 2. Why is R.O.W. being reduced? It appears the 110 ft. R.O.W. should continue at least to end of bridge if not to the City Limits· This requires coordination with the Charles Gojer firm so that you both aren't preparing field notes for the same parcels· 3. Show how your planned 24 ft. roadways will connect to the bridge· 4. Show how the future proposed 36 ft. roadways will be connected to the bridge· If an extra sheet is needed in order to show how the 24 ft and 36 ft roadways will connect, then provide one. Mr. Phil Weston, P.E. November 4, 1993 Page Four While, there continues to be a question on what will happen at Kimbel Court and how the right-of-way and pavement is to behandled at the east end of the project, I believe you can now proceed with your preliminary plans and right-of-way drawings. (The right-of- way on east end is still not correctly shown and needs further coordination with Gojer - enclosed is a print of the current Gojer alignment and bridge section). The City of Coppell has requested that you return both marked sets with your next submission.
