Dear Mr. Wicker:
This letter is in response to your request that we provide you
with the availability of water and sewer in and around Gateway
Park Development.
WATER MAINS
There are two (2) 16 inch Water Mains feeding
this area from the North (Bethel Road) along
Freeport Parkway and Coppell Road. There are
also two (2) 10 inch water mains feeding the
area from the north and east along Denton Tap
Road and Belt Line Road East/West respectively.
SANITARY SEWER
As we discussed, we also have under contract a 24
inch Water Transmission line that will be placed
along Southwestern Boulevard from Belt Line Road
East/West to the existing elevated storage tank to
the west.
There is an existing 12 inch line servicing the
west and north central areas of the Gateway Park
area draining easterly along the St. Louis and
Southwestern Railroad right-of-way. Also a 15
inch sewer drains the easterly part of the
development (and other areas) draining easterly
along Belt Line Road East/West.

In regard to a 24 inch Sanitary Sewer draining into a 12 inch
sewer; in discussing this matter with George Preul, of Albert
Halff Associates, that 24 inch sewer was sized and put in place
with the construction of Freeport Parkway. From just that
discussion, there is a need in the future for additional sanitary
sewer trunklines to service the area when "fully developed". The
two trunk lines (12 inch and 15 inch) servicing the area are in
place and that capacity is available now. As we discussed Half &
Associates, as the Design Engineers, should be able to address
the specifics on capabilities and development phasing.
