Dear Commissioner Jackson:
Back on October 1, 1984, the Commissioners Court oi Dallas County approved
a Court Order ~841466, which gave the Commissioner o' District 1 the authority
to cooperate with the City of Coppell on improveme, ts of Sandy Lake Road.
The County would provide the labor and material for the project. The City would
pre-pay (escrow $350,000.00 in Fund ~120-914-913-7) the cost of materials. The
project has been completed along with two (2) other projects were funded out
of the escrow funds.
To the best of my knowledge, there has not been any activity since October of
1980 in this escrow fund. Therefore, I respectfully request the balance of
$107,489.70 in the Coppell Escrow Fund 1Z0-914-913-7 be returned to the City
of Coppell. The City of Coppell wishes to express their thanks and gratitude
to the Commissioners Court in their assistance in these projects.
