Affidavit Regarding Utility Easement - Parkview Subdivision
Block 4 Lot 20
Attached you will find a document that has been hand delivered to Public Works. Westchester
Homes has requested that this document be signed by representative from the City along
with representatives from other utility companies in the City of Coppell. As you are aware,
the purpose of the document is to allow the single family dwelling being built on the above
referenced lot to encroach into the easement (as shown on exhibit "A").
Public Works staff members have reviewed these documents, and find that the encroachment
of the home does not conflict the City's use of the easement. Therefore, by virtue of this
memorandum, staff ask that you sign off on this document as the representative of the City.
I have spoken with the Director of Public Works, and he concurs with staff's findings.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please advise.

Whereas, the easement is a blanket easement for the
benefit of the utility companies, as certified in the
subdivision wherein the property is located; and
Whereas, the utility companies
said subdivision are Lone Star Gas,'
Electric Company and Paragon Cable:
listed on the plat of
General Telephone, T. U.
and the City of Coppell.
Whereas~ Owner desires to construct a single family
residential dwelling which encroaches into the easement as
shown, on the survey attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and
incorporated herein by reference; and
Now, therefore, premises considered, each of the
aforesaid utility companies consents to the construction of a
single family residential dwelling with the encroachment as
shown of Exhibit "A".
This affidavit is made to establish of record the
consent of each of the utility companies as to the
encroachment into the utility easement as shown on Exhibit
"A", swears that the statements contained herein are true.
