Enclosed is a copy of the City of Coppell Development Fee Asscssmeot table, along witb a copy of the
Development Fee calculations for the referenced development.
This revised impact fee assessment is a result of an agreement reached with the Fire Marshal for an
alternate design for the building sprinkler systems. The single larger meter for each building has been
replaced with a one-inch meter for each individual unit. This results in a reduction of 12 two-inch fire
line meters and their associated fees.
The Engineering Department has determined that the additional volume of water that can be drawn
through a one-inch meter versus the standard 5/8 inch x ~/h incln meter wiIl only be used during a fire flor,
cor~dition, and as such the additional impact fee ,,,.ill be waived for this largcr meter. You ,,``ii1 still be
responsible for paying the cost of the more expensive one-inch meter.
The fees for water and sewer taps, water meters, and utility inspection fees need to be paid by' separate
check at the new Public Works Service Center, 816 S. Coppell Road. Meters will be ordered when those
fees are paid.
