RE: Riverside Church of Christ Plan Review
Dear Sir:
Your construction plans for the aforementioned new establishment have been reviewed by this office.
If you are intending to use the kitchen as part of a child day-care or to serve food to the public (i.e.,
pancake breakfast, luncheon, etc.), you will need to apply for a food service permit with the City's
Environmental Health Division.
From the plans that were submitted and reviewed by this office, it appears that the kitchen floor will
be constructed of ceramic tile, the walls of gypsum board, and the ceiling of gypsum board. These
materials will be approved only if they are smooth, easily cleanable, and non-absorbent. Several
inspections shall be performed as construction progresses to ensure that the facility is in compliance
with existing codes pertaining to food establishments.
Attached you will find a copy of the City of Coppell Environmental Health Division's Requirements
for New Establishment. These requirements must be followed in constructing your establishment.
You will need to submit a detailed set of plans and specifications to this office if you are intending to
serve food to the public in any capacity from this facility. A plan review fee of $50.00 will also be
required.
