I've attached the preliminary conceptual layout for Freeport Parkway. This was provided by Freese and Nichols to
assist in the preparation of their scope of services. It is preliminary and subject to adjustment based on several
factors such as: discussions with the property owner, existing gas wells, existing gas transmission line, etc.
There is some Federal funding proposed for this project, but the money becomes available in October 2007. The
City hopes to fund the design and have the design complete by that time. Because of the partial Federal funding,
there will be an environmental study required. These studies sometimes take years to complete, so it could be the
controlling factor in the timetable for the start of construction.
