Parkwood-CS 870529GINN, INC. CONSULTING ENGINEERS MEMORANDUM TO: Dale Jackson FROM: Gabe ~avre DATE: May 29, 1987 SUBJECT: Parkwood Drainage Problem Regarding your May 21, 1987 request for Ginn, Inc. to review and provide a solution to the above referenced subject, we offer the following comments. The area in question is in an alley between Moore Road and Meadowood Lane in the Parkwood III Addition, located at the rear of lots 6 and 7 (addresses 327 & 331 Meadowood). The builders were "skewing" the drives away from the curb inlet, thereby preventing parking for two vehicles and only allowing ingress/egress from one direction. Confirming our site visit conversation, we have no objection to removing the existing curb on either side of the curb inlet, by saw cutting the alley pavement a minimum of one foot off the curb; then, beginning at the edge of the inlet, produce a five foot radius toward the drive edges. This will allow; ample space for parking of two vehicles; ingress/egress from two directions; and, not interfere with proper operation of the curb inlet.
