TRANSPORTATION:
The thoroughfare plan indicates that Lodge Road will be a
2-lane undivided roadway, and Sandy Lake will serve as a
6-lane divided thoroughfare. Lodge Road, in its present
state of condition is considered as a substandard roadway
due to its ashpalt overlay and absence of curb and
qutters. It is the intention of the developer to improve
Lodge Road from the Pecan hollow site (north of this plat)
south, all the way to the intersection of Sandy Lake
Road. Additional right-of-way which has not yet been
obtained from the other property owners, will be necessary
in order to achieve the future street expansion. The
developer is working with the adjoing property owners to
secure the necessary right-of-way and will address the
results at the Planning and Zoning and City Council meeting.
