The Memo from Tom Morton Dated May 13, 19~2 Concerning
the Intersection of Coppell Road With Bet~%i~d
DATE: May 19, 1992
Mr. Morton had requested that a traffic study be performed to see if a
signal light is warranted at the intersection of Coppell Road and Bethel
Road. That traffic study was performed in October 1991 by Barton-Aschman
Associates, Inc.
At the May 26, 1992 City Council meeting, Staff will be presenting an
agenda item requesting approval of a contract with Barto~-Ascb. man
Associates, Inc. for the design of the signal light at Bethel Road and
Coppell Road. The warrants for this intersection indicated that the peak
hour volume justified the signal light.
Also, on the same agenda item, Staff will be requesting approval of a
contract with Barton-Aschman Associates, Inc. for the design of the signal
light at MacArthur and Samuel Boulevard.
