JBM Engineers & Planners 15400 Knoll Trail Suite 111 Dallas, TX 75248 RE: TR 93-03 Roadway Impact Fees Dear Mr. Bryan: I received your letter dated January 13, 1995 of which Barbara Leftwich, of Leftwich and Associates, a subcontractor to your fu'm, has requested additional payment. Our contract was with the firm of JBM in the amount of $45,000.00. We have issued no amendments to that contract nor have we received any requests to amend that contract. It is our opinion that the scope of the contract has not changed and that the original contract amount of $45,000.00 should be honored with no additional payments. Therefore, you should submit an invoice to the City of Coppell in the amount of the difference of what has been paid and the contract amount so that this contract can be finalized between yourself and the City. As far as the request by Leftwich and Associates for additional payment, the City has entered into an additional contract with Leftwich and Associates for some modeling of Sandy Lake Road. That is handled under a separate contract in the amount of $2,300.00 which we will pay Ms. Leftwich as soon as the City has received an original invoice for that payment. In looking at her itemized invoice, it appears as though that $2,300.00 is covered in items on which she worked on in October, 1994. In summary, the City will pay for the balance of the contract amount up to $45,000.00 and pay Ms. Leftwich for any amount of which we authorized under a separate contract. If you should have any questions please feel free to contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E. Assistant City Manager/Director of Public Works cc: file TR93-03
