Riverchase(3)-CS 880329 (2)COPPELL PUBLIC ~ORKS MI~4ORANDUM M~rch 29, 1988 TO: FROM: RE: Steve Goram, Director of Public Works Steven Morton, Chief Public Works Inspector Status of MacArthur Blvd. As per your request for a list of deficient items, I submit the following: 1. None of the utility punch list items have been addressed. I have had several meetings with Terra and Nathan Maier. Bobby Harrell has assured me the items will be taken care of. 2. Landscape first median on MacArthur Blvd., south of Beltline. The irrigation and landscaping materials were removed prior to myself assuming project from Ginn, Inc.. To all intents and purposes, Janet Vick of Nathan Maier instructed Allen Johnston of CMA to remove plants, irrigation heads, and valves from Beltline to the bridge. The plants were taken to the Sunbelt Savings building. Irra Tech has possession of the irrigation materials. In the last meeting with Bobby Harrell, he said that he submitted landscape and irrigation plans to Richard Diano, who has agreed with the plans. Terra has taken out irrigation permits and has started cleaning out the median. 3. The intersection deviates from city standards by using 6 cm brick instead of 8 cm brick. The wheelchair ramps on the north side are radial, not full cord like the wheelchair ramp on the south side. These deviations were on their approved plans. 4. One of the manholes for our 24" water valve is still buried. 5. The signal pole hit by truck will need to be replaced. It is my understanding that this is covered by truck's insurance. It will take 4-6 weeks to receive delivery after the insurance company issues check to Sharrock Electric. Ail these items have been called out to them throughout the construction process and are on the final punch list from the final walk through. SMM/sm
