Reference is made to your July 23, 1987, letter to Ms. Janet P. Vick of
our firm regarding additional reimbursement due Riverchase Joint Venture in
conjunction with the above referenced project.
In your letter, you stated that as soon as Mr..Steve Goram returned from
vacation, you ~ould discuss this ~dditional reimbursement matter with him
(please refer to Ms. Vick's letter to you dated June 24, 1987, for specifics
related to the request for additional reimbursement).
It has been over a month since we received your letter. We would greatly
appreciate your attention to this matter so that it can be resolved as soon as
possible.

regarding extra compensation to Terra for the 24" water line
along MacArthur.
As soon as Mrs. Steve Goram returns from vacation, we will
request his verification of the "extras" ~nd proceed to advise
the city manager.

Dear Wayne:
Please find enclosed a copy of the original bid tabulation for utilities
on the above referenced project, and a copy of the letter forwarded to the
City of Coppell and Record Drawings.
As per our discussion, we originally bid RCCP pipe instead of D.I. pipe,
and the $92,430.50. approved by the City Council-was for RCCP pipe. Steve
.Corham insisted that D.I. pipe be used. The cost difference is $11.00 per
linear foot; the change in pipe type cost is $28.435.00.
The additional cost above this amount is due to a increase in length of
pipe by 325 feet, and additional valves and manholes. The 24' main was
extended further north so ~hat the stub out would be outside the power ease-
menta, and extending the main east and west along Belt Line Road. The cost
due to ~he additional length, valves, and manholes is $13,125.00. This cost,
together with the pipe type cos~, totals $41,560 still due Rlverchase Joint
Vent~tre.
Your assistance in helping resolve this matter will be greatly appreci-
ated. If you need any additional information to process the reimbursement,
please do not hesitate to call me.
