Riverchase(3)-CS 870825MEMORANDUM August 25, 1987 TO: FROM: RE: Alan Ratliff, City Manager Steve Morton, Chief of Land Development Beltline - MacArthur Intersection Update As of August 25, 1987 the intersection itself is substantially complete. Signals were turned on signal for a "T" intersection at 1 p.m. on 8-24-87. All perdinent signage are in place thanks to the efforts of Dana Kamp our Signs/Signals Technician. MacArthur Blvd. (North of R/R) will have its buttons in place this week and a final walk through has been scheduled for 8-27-87 at 1 p.m.. The only item left to complete is the railroad crossing installation and energizing there controller, which the railroad will do. Jean Maier and I have had several conversations with Dave Andrew of St. Louis and Southwest Railroad. I was previously told by Dave on 7-27-87 that as soon as they completed their emergency repairs in Tyler they would start the Coppell site. The latest conversation was 8-25-87 when Jean Maier was told by Dave Andrew "We will be there when we get there". At this time I have no idea when the railroad intends to complete their crossing.
