A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COPPELL, TEXAS,
ESTABLISHING A PUBLIC I4~ARING DATE TO CONSIDER THE ADOPTION OF THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PLAN AND IMPOSITION OF THE IMPACT FEE FOR
ROADWAY FACILITIES; PROVIDING FOR THE GMNG OF NOTICE OF THE PUBLIC
HEARING; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas has adopted land use
assumptions for roadway facilities; and
WHEREAS, a capital improvements plan for roadway facilities has been developed
by qualified professionals, in accordance with Section 395.046 of the Texas Local
Government Code; and
WHE~, Section 395.047 of thc Texas Local Government Code requires the
governing body of the City of Coppell hold a public hearing to discuss the adoption of the
capital improvements plan and the imposition of the impact fee for roadway facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COPPELL, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Coppell, Texas, shall conduct a
public hearing on December 13, 1994, at 7:30 p. m. to discuss thc proposed adoption of a
capital improvements plan and the imposition of an impact fee for roadway facilities.
SECTION 2. That on or before the date of the first publication of the notice of the
aforesaid public hearing, the capital improvements plan shall be made available to the
pubHc.

SECTION 3. That pursuant to Section 395.049 of the Texas Local Government Code,
the Assistant City Manager is directed to cause a Notice of Public Hearing on Adoption of
Impact Fees to be published once a week for three consecutive weeks in the City's official
newspaper in a size not smaller than one-quarter page of standard-size or tabloid-size
newspaper, with the headline of the notice to be in eighteen point or larger type. The first
notice shall appear on or after the 60th day before the date set for the hearing but before
the 30th day before the date set for the hearing.
SECTION 4. This resolution shall become effective immediately from and after its
passage, as the law and charter in such cases provide.
