Dear Mr. Griffin:
During the course of the utility work on this project our utility subcontractor procured materials for
several items of work that were subsequently deleted from the scope of work. The material suppliers will
not allow M-CO to return several of these items. Since these materials were procured prior to the
removal of the items of work, M-CO should be reimbursed for the material. The cost for the following
items need to be added to the next change order:
16" CL 165 DR25 PVC water line
48" prefabricated manhole base
440 LF $10.01/LF $4,404.40
12LF $127.94/LF $1,535.28
Total $5,939.68
M-CO's original invoices for these materials are enclosed for your records. The prices above represent
the material cost plus the allowable profit and overhead for the items. If you have any questions
regarding this issue, don't hesitate to contact our office.
