The drainage channel grasses of my primary concern, which are located
within a 50' drainage easement with a 5' flume on Lot 20 of
Plantation Drive in Shadowridge Phase I, are not being maintained.
Enforcement of the high weed and grass ordinance will be hampered
by a request for service. The service being the clean out of the
5' flume. The grasses are not maintainable by normal homeowner
mowing equipment, or capabilities.
The build-up in the flume has been gradual as the subdivision homes
have been built thoughout that subdivision similar to Woodridge.
The build -up can be removed and deposited at an on-site .location
in the channel where considerable erosion has occured but it will
require the rental of a skid-steer loader with a 4' bucket to fit
into the channel bottom.
Until such time that the bottom area is reaso~ ~bl~ maintainable
by the property owner, I recommend that we mai~ ~in that section
pending the maintenance previously describ~
