Our office represents the Texas Municipal League and the City of Coppell in the above referenced incident. We have
investigated the events surrounding your alleged damages and we have perused the contract between the City of
Coppell and the M. A. Vinson Construction Company. We have determined that the City of Coppell is not legally
responsible for the damages which you allege occurred on your premises on May 5, 1995. We suggest that you
pursue this matter with the contractor mentioned above. Please accept this letter as a formal denial of your claim
against the City of Coppell.
