Dear Mr. Jones:
Upon my return to the office today, I received a copy of a letter sent from the legal firm of
Griffith and Nixon to Vincent Construction Company, Inc. Based upon thc contents of that
letter, it appears there is pending litigation between you and Vincent Construction. Since it is
obvious that the City of Coppell will be brought into this litigation, I must request that further
correspondence regarding this matter be addressed to our legal firm of Nichols, lackson, Dillard,
H_agar and Smith and, in particular, Pe. Jer Smith of that firm. They may be contacted at 214-
965-9900. It is unfortunate that this situation has evolved to this point, but under existing City
policy this is the procedure which shall be followed.
